Born in Caringbah, New South Wales, Australia, Robbie "Maddo" Maddison began riding motorcycles at just four years of age. By 12, he had become the New South Wales Amateur Motocross Champion, going on to win numerous state and national titles throughout a successful 10-year motocross racing career.

In 2002, Maddison transitioned to freestyle motocross. Within just a few years, he had established himself as one of the sport's most dominant riders, claiming the prestigious King of the Coast title three consecutive times, he then won King of FMX at The Planet X summer games, dominating FMX in Australia before taking his talents to the world stage.

In 2005, while touring with the Crusty Demons, Maddison broke two Guinness World Records: the 125cc distance record with a jump of 221 feet (67.4 metres), and the 250cc distance jump with trick at 246 feet (75 metres).

On New Year's Eve 2007, during ESPN's live broadcast commemorating the 40th anniversary of Evel Knievel's legendary Caesars Palace jump, Maddison broke the world 'motorcycle distance jumping' record, Jumping a regulation sized NFL football field at Las Vegas's Rio Casino. Less than a year later, at the Crusty Demons night of world records in Melbourne, Australia, he shattered his own record twice in a single night, ultimately flying 351 feet (107 metres) into a flawless landing.

He began 2009 with another defining moment in action sports history. On New Year's Day, Maddison successfully launched his motorcycle 100 feet (30 metres) onto the Arc de Triomphe replica at Paris Las Vegas before descending a near-vertical 100-foot drop back to the ground, completing one of the most iconic motorcycle stunts ever performed.

His Hollywood career runs just as deep. Maddison has served as Daniel Craig's stunt double in Skyfall and has worked alongside Vin Diesel, Tom Hardy and Jason Statham. He also performed as Vin Diesel's motorcycle double in xXx: Return of Xander Cage, executing the groundbreaking stunt of riding a motorcycle across open water.

In 2015, Maddison achieved what many believed impossible with his landmark Pipe Dream project, riding a dirt bike across the legendary Teahupo'o reef break in Tahiti. The film became a global phenomenon and is widely regarded as one of the greatest action sports films ever produced.

He pushed the boundaries even further in 2017, setting another world record by riding a motorcycle 19.8 miles (31.9 kilometres) across open water at speeds of up to 58 mph (93 km/h), further cementing his reputation as one of the most innovative and fearless action sports athletes of his generation.

Today, Robbie Maddison shows no signs of slowing down. He is headlining the 2023–2026 Freestyle Kings Super Show tour across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States, performing alongside some of the worlds best, including two of his eldest sons, Kruz and Jagger, sharing the stage he helped create for the next generation of freestyle motocross athletes.

A devoted husband and father, Hollywood stunt performer, multiple Guinness World Record holder and global action sports icon, Maddison continues to redefine what is possible on two wheels. Whether performing before sold-out crowds, developing groundbreaking new projects, or inspiring the next generation to dream bigger than ever before, his relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence remains unchanged.
