ABOUT

Born in Kiama, New South Wales, Robbie "Maddo" Maddison began riding motorcycles at age four and became New South Wales Australia amateur motocross champion at just 12 — a sign of what was to come. He transitioned to freestyle motocross in 2002 and within years was dominating the sport, winning the King of the Coast title three consecutive times before taking his talents to the world stage. In 2005, riding with the Crusty Demons, he broke two Guinness World Records — the 125cc distance record at 221 feet and the 250cc distance jump with trick at 246 feet. On New Year's Eve 2007, live on ESPN on the 40th anniversary of Evel Knievel's famous Caesars Palace jump, Maddison broke the world motorcycle jumping record. He then shattered his own record twice in a single night at Melbourne's Crusty Demons show in 2008, ultimately covering 351 feet — 107 metres — into a perfect landing. On New Year's Day 2009, he successfully jumped 100 feet up onto the Arc de Triomphe replica at Paris Las Vegas before descending an 100-foot drop safely to the ground. His Hollywood career runs just as deep — he has served as a stunt double for Daniel Craig in Skyfall and worked alongside Vin Diesel and Jason Statham, and appeared in xXx: Return of Xander Cage performing as Vin Diesel's motorcycle double on the ocean. In 2015, his landmark Pipe Dream project saw him ride a dirt bike across the legendary Teahupo'o reef break in Tahiti — widely considered one of the greatest action sport films ever made. In 2017, he set a further world record by riding 19.8 miles on water at a top speed of 45 mph. Today, Robbie shows no sign of slowing down — headlining the 2023-2026 Freestyle Kings Super Show tour across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and America performing alongside his two sons, Kruz and Jagger, sharing the stage he built for the next generation. A devoted father, a Hollywood stunt icon, a multiple Guinness World Record holder, and still one of the most electrifying performers on the planet — Robbie Maddison's story is far from finished.
